LCA student Carissa Martin signed with Commercial Talent in Los Angeles after participating in LCA's Agent Showcase and has booked a commercial for Nexon Games called "Audition" airing on MTV and VH1.

Welcome To Lights, Camera, Acting!

Hi, I’m J. Robin Miller. Ten years ago I decided I wanted to be a professional actor. So, I packed my bags, left my small town of Marysville, Ohio and made the move to Hollywood. Lots of hard work and a little luck along the way have allowed me to succeed as a working actor in film, television and commercials. Now I want to give something back, and teaching enables me to do just that. I’ve achieved so many of my goals- now I can take pride in helping others to make their dreams come true too.

I founded LCA to bring working actors like myself from Los Angeles to Orange County to teach the craft and business of acting. We’re very proud of our students’ success. Many of our students have secured legitimate agents and booked commercials and guest starring roles on TV. But what makes us the most proud is watching the progress of each student as they hone their skills. Acting is a discipline that teaches self-awareness and sensitivity to others. It improves reading comprehension, public speaking, communication skills, and self-confidence. I love knowing that all my students take away valuable life skills, even the ones who don’t pursue acting as a career.

Now, the Internet is bringing us all closer together, making it possible for me to extend LCA’s classes beyond our Orange County classroom. So now, even if you’re living in the middle of a cornfield in the Midwest, your can start working to make your acting dream come true, right now, from your home town.
